Most clients are reimbursed by insurance companies at the “out-of-network” rate. I can provide you with a superbill, which is a document which contains information needed by your insurance carrier for possible reimbursement. This does not guarantee that insurance will reimburse for treatment. Every insurance policy is written differently, so it is important that clients speak to their insurance carrier regarding out-of-network mental health coverage.
